Bible Study

We offer two opportunities for Bible Study, to meet the needs of those who are the serious scholar or the curious novice.  In either the Sunday afternoon group (4:30 p.m.)

or the Wednesday morning group (11:30 a.m.), participants are offered the opportunity to look in detail at the Scriptures and question and discuss the relevance and significance

of God’s word in and for our lives.  Both Bible Study groups meet in the Common Thread Room, in the Administration Building.

Gospelaires

The Gospelaires is a group of men and women exploring and growing in the Christian Faith using The Present Word curriculum, First Things, encouraging participants to appreciate “that the God who created the world and all that is in it created you and yours.”  Meets Sundays, from 9:30-10:30 a.m., in the Gospelaires Room, in the Administration Building.

Fellowship Class

Beginning in the 1940's as a couples' class it has  has grown into class of mainly men and women over 55, with some in their 20's, studying God's Word using the Present Word Series.  This class is led by 3 members, Maxine Rowe, William Cumming and Mayme Lee Lawrence who alternate months.  The Fellowship Class, while focusing on trusting God to guide them,  reads scripture and keeping in context with when it was written and the culture of that time and how it relates to our current times.  Each gathering is opened and closed in prayer.  Meets Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30 in the Parlor Room of the Administration Building.
